Commerce Police Department Issues Reminder: Goodwill Location Permanently Closed

The Commerce Police Department has issued a public service announcement informing residents that the Goodwill store in Commerce has permanently closed. As a result, residents are asked to refrain from dropping off furniture, clothing, trash, or any other items at the former donation drop-off location behind the store.

Due to the closure, several items are no longer being collected at this site. Individuals looking to donate are encouraged to take their items to the Greenville Goodwill location at 1803 I-30 Frontage Rd, Greenville, TX, or consider placing them on their property with a "FREE" sign.

Alternative Donation Options: Residents are also urged to consider donating items to local organizations such as Bargain Box or My Sister's Closet. Additionally, clothing, shoe, and toy donation drop-off bins remain available in the parking lot of Live Oak, across from Tractor Supply. These bins are identified by their pink, green, and red colors.

To maintain cleanliness and protect donated items from weather damage, the police department requests that all items be placed directly inside the bins.

The Commerce Police Department appreciates the community's understanding and cooperation during this transition.
