On Thursday, October 10th, a Captain with the Paris Criminal Investigations division continued probing into an arson and terroristic threat reported the previous night. The incident occurred in the 500 block of NE 12th Street, where a suspect allegedly ignited a fire from a small pot with the intent to damage a house and vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, the Captain secured two warrants for 39-year-old Ashley Nicole Hensler, who was already in custody at the Paris Jail for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The warrants include Felony Arson with intent to damage a habitat and a Class “A” Terroristic Threat to the Family Household in connection with the incident.
