On October 9, 2024, deputies from the Harrison County Sheriff's Office responded to a welfare check on E. County Club Road after a complainant reported a female laying in a yard near the address. Upon arrival, deputies encountered a visibly intoxicated white female who identified herself as "Truth" and attempted to leave the scene.
The woman was transported to the jail for public intoxication. After being fingerprinted, she was identified as 44-year-old Kelly Louann Goldman, a homeless woman with an outstanding warrant for harassment out of Harris County. In addition to public intoxication, Goldman was charged with failure to identify herself and possession of methamphetamine found in her purse.
