Hopkins County Health Care Foundation Welcomes New Board Members for Three-Year Term

Pam Black, Brad Johnson and Heather Johnson

The Hopkins County Health Care Foundation Board of Directors has appointed new members for a three-year term as part of its ongoing commitment to the community. The Foundation’s Bylaws allow for a board comprising between nine and 15 members serving staggered three-year terms, with the possibility of two consecutive terms.

The newly appointed members are Brad Johnson, Heather Johnson, and Kenny Rogers, all of whom are residents of Hopkins County. Their diverse knowledge and skills are expected to significantly enhance the Board’s initiatives. Pam Black, chair of the Board of Directors, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “We are so thrilled for Brad, Heather, and Kenny to join the Board. Their unique perspectives will greatly benefit our work in the community.”

Now in its 27th year, the Foundation remains dedicated to raising funds to provide advanced medical technology, equipment, and services to the local area. It frequently collaborates with the Hopkins County Hospital District and CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital—Sulphur Springs to fulfill its mission.

As a recognized IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, contributions to the Foundation may be tax-deductible. Fundraising efforts include events such as the Gala, Designer Handbag Bingo, Mingo, along with cash gifts and planned giving. Donations of any amount are welcomed and have a meaningful impact.
