Salmonella Outbreak Leads to Recall of Eggs

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is advising consumers not to eat, sell, or serve recalled chicken eggs from Milo's Poultry Farms and Tony's Fresh Market. The recall affects all expiration dates for the following products:

  • All carton sizes and types of eggs from Milo's Poultry Farms
  • All carton sizes of “Tony’s Fresh Market” branded eggs

This warning comes after 65 individuals fell ill from a Salmonella strain linked to these eggs across nine states, with 24 people hospitalized. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported. Consumers are urged to check their egg cartons and dispose of any affected products immediately.
