On Saturday afternoon, October 5th, at 3:53 PM, Paris Police Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 2300 block of East Cherry Street, where someone had shattered the glass at the bus station. During the investigation, officers made contact with 46-year-old Mia Taisha Tolbert, who initially provided a false identity.
A second officer was able to correctly identify Tolbert and placed her under arrest for an active warrant out of Lamar County for Felony Motion to Revoke-Driving While Intoxicated with three or more convictions. In addition to the warrant, she was charged with Class A Fail to Identify Fugitive Intent for giving false information.
