On Friday, September 27, shortly after 2:00 PM, Texarkana Police Department responded to a call regarding a child not breathing at an apartment complex in the 3300 block of Nichols Drive. Upon arrival, officers found a five-year-old boy unresponsive and immediately began CPR. The child was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later.
As the investigation unfolded, Texarkana detectives arrested the child’s parents later that night. Both suspects are being held at the Bi-State Justice Center, with Robinson’s bond set at $5 million and Culvahouse’s bond set at $1 million.
