On Friday, September 27, 2024, a Paris Police officer responded to a report of an assault at Paris Regional Medical Center. Upon arrival, the officer met with a 26-year-old female complainant who detailed an incident involving a family member.
The victim reported that the family member entered her residence located in the 400 block of NE 17th without permission and physically assaulted her multiple times, including pushing her down and grabbing her arm. The victim, who is currently expecting, expressed concerns for the wellbeing of her unborn child.
Police documented the incident and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
