On Friday, September 27th, Harrison County Deputies responded to a report of a fraudulent check being attempted for cash at Community Bank, located at 101 Community Blvd in Longview. The complainant informed authorities that a male suspect was in the lobby attempting to cash a check for $6,000.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the suspect, identified as Adrian Woodridge, had left the bank and was walking west on Highway 80. He was located at the intersection of Highway 80 and Loop 281. During a roadside interview, Woodridge admitted to cashing the fraudulent check.
As a result, he was taken into custody and charged with forgery of a financial instrument.
