On September 5, 2024, Michael Gravitt of the Texas Commission on Jail Standards conducted the annual inspection of the Titus County Jail. The inspection confirmed that the facility is in compliance with Texas Minimum Jail Standards, marking a significant achievement for the jail staff.
This success is attributed to the leadership and diligent efforts of every member of the Titus County Jail team, who work tirelessly across four shifts, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and 365 days a year. The support from the Titus County Commissioners’ Court, which provides essential budgetary resources for jail operations, has been crucial in maintaining this standard.
