A motorcyclist lost their life in a tragic single-vehicle accident early Saturday morning. The crash occurred before 9:00 AM on September 21, in the 8600 block of County Road 2584, just south of Royse City.
According to officials, the motorcycle veered off the road and collided with a tree, leading to fatal injuries for the rider. Emergency responders arrived at the scene but were unable to revive the individual, who was pronounced dead at the site of the accident.
