On the night of September 18, 2024, the Harrison County Sheriff's Office in Marshall received a report from a complainant who witnessed a troubling scene on Redmon Road in Longview. According to the report, a Hispanic male was seen choking a White female before forcibly placing her into a gray van with a pink license plate. The suspect then drove toward Highway 80.
Deputies were dispatched to the area but were unable to locate any vehicle matching the description provided. The complainant, who had initially called in the report, decided to leave the area and no longer wished to be involved in the incident. The search for the vehicle and individuals involved continues.
