On September 13, 2024, at approximately 8:00 AM, Henderson County Narcotic Investigators Jonathan Daille, Jonathan Barrios, and Brad Beddingfield, along with other Henderson County Investigators, executed a narcotic search warrant on County Road 2404 in Henderson County. The search warrant was issued by 392nd District Judge Scott McKee.
During the execution of the search warrant, five individuals were found at the residence and in possession of suspected methamphetamines:
- 50-year-old Matoka Gibson Lopez of Kemp, charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B and Parole Violation, with a bond set at $50,000.
- 54-year-old Troy Earl Crisp of Tool, TX, charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B, with a bond set at $50,000.
- 36-year-old Holly Fay Whiteley of Kemp, charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B, with a bond set at $50,000.
- 54-year-old John Wayne Avrett III of Kemp, charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B, with a bond set at $50,000.
- 43-year-old William Lee Molloy of Mabank, charged with Possession of Controlled Substance PG 1/1-B, with a bond set at $50,000.
Two of the subjects were also wanted for outstanding warrants in addition to their current charges. All five individuals were arrested and transported to the Henderson County Detention Center, where they were booked for possession of methamphetamines and their respective outstanding warrants.
