On September 8, 2024, deputies from the Hunt County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting in the 10000 block of Navajo in Quinlan, Texas. Upon arrival, they found two individuals with gunshot wounds. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to a medical facility with a non-life-threatening injury and has since been discharged.
The shooting stemmed from a confrontation between the deceased and the surviving victim. No charges have been filed yet, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
