Marshall Man Arrested After Drug-related Investigation, AR Style Weapon Found

On Thursday morning, September 5th, a joint operation involving the Joint Harrison County Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force, Harrison County Emergency Response Team, Harrison County Sheriff's Office, and Marshall Police Department was conducted at 702 Elm Street in Marshall, Texas. The operation followed a comprehensive investigation into drug-related activities at the residence.

During the search, 31-year-old Patrick Deondrick Burns of Marshall was arrested on multiple charges, including Possession of Marijuana in a Drug-Free Zone, Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Burns was also wanted for two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 related to a previous investigation by the Task Force. The search led to the discovery of marijuana, two firearms, MDMA, and psilocybin at the residence.

In a related incident, Kemron Rider was apprehended while driving by 702 Elm Street. Rider was arrested for Delivery of Marijuana, a charge connected to the investigation at the residence. Additionally, Rider was found in possession of an AR pistol and was charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.
