The Hopkins County Health Care Foundation is preparing for its fifth annual free mammography clinic, aimed at benefiting uninsured women over the age of 40 in Hopkins County. The clinic is supported by direct donations and proceeds from Designer Handbag Bingo.
The event will be held on Friday, October 4, Monday, October 7, and Wednesday, October 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ruth & Jack Gillis Women’s Center, located within CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital – Sulphur Springs. The clinic will offer mammograms using a 3D machine for enhanced accuracy.
The first 60 women to call 903-438-4325 to schedule an appointment will be accommodated. Additional days and times may be added based on demand. Women are encouraged to call as soon as possible to secure an appointment, as space is limited and the clinic fills up quickly.
The Hopkins County Health Care Foundation, established in 1997, is an IRS-designated 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization governed by an independent board of directors.
