Madison's family reported being unable to locate her and contacted law enforcement for assistance. She was last seen in the 1000 block of Princeton Heights.
Based on additional information obtained during their investigation, Princeton Police issued an Amber Alert for Madison. Authorities are urging anyone who sees Madison or has knowledge of her whereabouts to refrain from making direct contact. Instead, they should immediately call the Princeton Police Department at 972-736-3901 or dial 9-1-1.
Madison Carroll is described as a white female, standing 5'7" tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds. She has brunette hair and brown eyes.
In an update released at 7:05 PM on August 31, the Princeton Police Department reported that recent leads suggest a white Dodge Ram may have been involved in picking up Madison. The vehicle appears in a video that investigators are reviewing. Madison has reportedly been in contact with her parents throughout the day, and it is believed she may now be in the Austin area.
According to state protocols, a juvenile cannot legally consent to voluntary transportation. Additionally, Madison has made threats of self-harm. Due to these factors, the situation meets the criteria for issuing an Amber Alert.
Princeton Police are actively investigating the case and seeking public assistance to locate Madison safely.
