On August 14th, the Texarkana Police Department's Special Investigations Unit, in collaboration with the Texas Department of Public Safety and Homeland Security, executed a search warrant at a residence on the 800 block of Jerome Street.
During the operation, Kenneth Collins, 40, was apprehended at the scene. Law enforcement discovered a variety of illegal substances in the living room, including cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, ecstasy, and THC-infused products. Additionally, six firearms were found in the living room and bedroom, three of which had been reported stolen. Evidence of crack cocaine production and packaging was also located in the kitchen.
Collins was booked into the Bi-State Jail on charges including two counts of Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Delivery of Marijuana, and Theft of a Firearm. He was released on August 20th after posting a bond of $182,500.
