Pierce Manufacturing is conducting a week-long aerial training for the Greenville Fire Department using the new Truck 3. Today’s training activities included mounting the municipal building, extending over Graham Park Lake for a simulated water rescue, and laddering local hotels for driver training.
The new truck, noted for its ability to turn a tighter circle than smaller engines, is being showcased during this training week. The community is invited to observe the truck in action if they see it out on the streets.
