On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 6 p.m., the Greenville Police Department will hold a kickoff meeting for residents interested in organizing a block party for National Night Out. The meeting will take place in the Community Room at the Greenville Police Department, located at 3000 Lee St., Greenville, TX 75401.
Officer Hamilton will present information on the event, address any questions, distribute National Night Out gear, and assist with neighborhood registration. National Night Out, scheduled for the evening of October 1, 2024, aims to strengthen police-community partnerships and promote neighborhood safety and camaraderie. The event typically includes cookouts, outdoor games, and live music, with participation from police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and elected officials.
