A search warrant served on Rusk County Road 2161 by the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the recovery of three stolen ATVs. The ATVs were found concealed behind an outbuilding on a gated property.
Leads developed during the investigation led Rusk County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators to apply for a search warrant for property under the care, custody, and control of Willie Calvin Stoker II, 41, of Longview. While serving the warrant, officials found Stoker in possession of a prohibited weapon, specifically a short barrel firearm.
Stoker was arrested and charged with three counts of felony theft and possession of a prohibited weapon. His bonds were set at $53,500 by Justice of the Peace Pct 3 Shannon Burkley.
The recovered stolen ATVs were identified as follows:
- A 2024 Polaris Ranger NorthStar Edition valued at $39,000, reported stolen from the Tatum area in July 2024.
- A 2024 Polaris Razor valued at $35,900, reported stolen from the Henderson area in June 2024.
- A 2016 Kubota RTV valued at $18,800, reported stolen from the Henderson area in June 2022.
The search warrant for Stoker's property was issued by Rusk County Court at Law Judge Chad Dean. The investigation is ongoing, and additional arrests are anticipated.
