Motorcyclist Draws Firearm in Road Rage Incident on Main Street in Paris

On Thursday, July 25th, at approximately 9:44 a.m., Paris Police responded to a road rage incident in the 2500 block of North Main Street. The confrontation involved a motorcyclist and a car driver who had both pulled over to the side of the road. The dispute centered around accusations of one vehicle following too closely.

During the altercation, the motorcyclist displayed a firearm. Paris Police officers arrived on the scene, where they intervened and successfully disarmed the motorcyclist. The firearm was secured by the authorities. As a result of the incident, a Felony Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon report was filed. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no further details about the parties involved have been released at this time.
