On July 27, 2024, at approximately 1:49 am, Sulphur Springs Police officers were dispatched to a location in response to a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim with bruising under her eye and a cut lip.
After collecting all relevant information, it was determined that 30-year-old Blake Adam Friddle was the aggressor during the incident. Friddle was subsequently arrested for assault family violence.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the victim attempted to call 911, but Friddle took her cell phone, ended the call, and concealed the phone from her. The victim requested an Emergency Protective Order.
Friddle was transported to Hopkins County Jail without incident. He is charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member and Interfering with an Emergency Request for Assistance. His bond was set at $10,000.
