Marshall Police Apprehend Two Teen Suspects in Drive-By Shooting Incident

The Marshall Police Department has apprehended Abdiel Vences, 18, Jordan Hernandez, 17, and one minor in connection with a drive-by shooting incident that took place in the early hours of July 25.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1200 block of East Bowie. Upon arrival, no injuries were found. Through subsequent inquiries, the suspects were identified.

Abdiel Vences faces multiple charges, including Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, Failure to Identify/Giving False/Fictitious Information, and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 ounces. Jordan Hernandez has been charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.

Both individuals are currently detained at the Harrison County Jail. Vences' bond has been set at $179,000, while Hernandez's bond is set at $103,000. The investigation is ongoing.
