On Thursday, July 25th, Caddo Mills Police received a distressing call from an individual who had been assaulted by a family member at a residence on Secretariat Lane in Caddo Mills. Police officers were dispatched along with Hunt County EMS and Caddo Mills Fire units. The victim was able to escape from the assailant and was found by officers.
After an investigation into the disturbance, David Levi Stevens of Royse City was arrested. He was charged with Assault of a Family Member with a Previous Conviction. His bond was set at $50,000, and he posted bail and was released on Friday, July 26th.
