Commerce Police Officers responded to a call at Auto Gallery Dodge regarding a former disgruntled employee. The individual had previously visited the dealership on Saturday, requesting to be reinstated to his job. During that visit, he brandished a pistol and challenged employees to a fight.
The employee returned to the dealership on Monday, prompting a response from the Commerce Police Department (CPD). Due to the previous incident on Saturday, warrants had been issued for his arrest. Upon arrest, a search of his vehicle was conducted, leading to the discovery of multiple illegal items.
The search revealed the individual was in possession of a long gun with a homemade suppressor and a revolver with a suppressor. Additionally, a homemade explosive device was found in his vehicle. As a result, the former employee faces several charges related to the possession of these items.
Authorities emphasize the importance of reporting any suspicious activity or behavior that appears unusual.
