Ex-Boyfriend Charged with Aggravated Assault After Ramming Vehicle and Physical Assault

Justin Kenny Horne

On Tuesday, July 23rd, Paris Police officers responded to a report from a visibly upset and shaken victim in the 200 block of SE 16th St. The victim reported that her ex-boyfriend, 29-year-old Justin Kenny Horne, had physically assaulted her and deliberately rammed her vehicle multiple times.

The incident began when the victim was leaving a parking lot in the 1600 block of Lamar. Horne had boxed her in and attempted to take her car keys. During a struggle, Horne bit the victim on the shoulder. The victim managed to escape and return home, but Horne followed and continued to ram her vehicle, causing significant damage and distress.

Horne fled the scene before officers arrived. Paris Police later located him at his residence, where he was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a felony. Horne was booked into custody without incident.
