In the early hours of Tuesday, July 23, 2024, Royse City Police Officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of Darlington Oak Ave in Royse City.
Upon arrival, officers encountered 26-year-old Jacob Johnathan Baez. Preliminary investigation revealed that Baez had been violent towards a female victim and had also obstructed her attempts to call for help.
Baez was subsequently arrested and charged with Continuous Violence Against the Family and Interfering with an Emergency Call. He is currently held at the Hunt County Jail with a total bond set at $60,000.
