Gregg County Drug Unit Seizes Firearms and Drugs in Search Warrant

On Thursday, July 15, 2024, the Gregg County Organized Drug Enforcement Unit (CODE), with assistance from the Longview Police Special Investigation Apprehension (SIA) Unit, executed a narcotics search warrant in the 900 block of South 14th Street. During the search, agents seized one 12-gauge shotgun, an AK-47, a .40 caliber pistol carbine, and two handguns with extended magazines. Additionally, agents found 68.2 grams of methamphetamine, 9.4 grams of Xanax, 6.613 pounds of marijuana, 2.6 grams of promethazine, 4.2 grams of hydrocodone, two M30 fentanyl pills, 2.3 grams of crack cocaine, 8.7 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, five bottles of prescription drugs, and cash.

Jabrealyn Carlisle, 23, and Michael Hill, 50, both of Longview, were arrested and taken to the Gregg County Jail without incident. Carlisle faces multiple charges, including Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance in various categories and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon. Hill is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 4<200g.
