On Tuesday morning at 3:30 AM, a Paris officer observed a male subject walking through Bywaters Park. The individual looked toward the officer before quickly entering a porta-potty, remaining inside for about one minute before peeking out. Given that the park was closed, the officer approached the subject. The 42-year-old homeless man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance—methamphetamine—and subsequently booked into the Paris Jail.
