At 5:18 PM on Monday, July 15th, a Paris Police Officer responded to a disturbance at the George Wright Homes apartment complex. Upon arrival, the officer observed another officer engaging with a subject. The subject, identified as a 24-year-old male, fled from the officer but was apprehended shortly after. He was wanted on multiple warrants: an outstanding State Jail Felony warrant for Unauthorized Absence from a Community Correctional Facility issued by the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office, a Violation of Bond/Protective Order warrant stemming from an August 2023 incident, and an on-view charge of Evading Arrest Detention. The individual was subsequently booked into the Paris Jail.
