Paris Police officers conducted a traffic stop on Thursday, July 4th, in response to reports of fireworks being thrown from a vehicle in the 1400 block of 8th NE. The stop led to the arrest of Kyrese Brajuhn Moore, 24. Moore attempted to flee on foot after the vehicle was stopped but was apprehended shortly afterward. Upon searching Moore, police found a small amount of marijuana, and a backpack in the vehicle contained a larger quantity. Moore was charged with possession of marijuana over two ounces and evading arrest (habitual) before being booked without incident.
