A Paris man, identified as Paul Lester, 70, died in a crash south of Bonham on Monday afternoon, July 1st, 2024.
According to troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred on State Highway 121 when Lester, driving northbound, attempted a U-turn and was struck by an oncoming car.
Lester was pronounced dead at the scene, while his passenger sustained serious injuries and was transported to Texoma Medical Center.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision was also seriously injured and taken to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in McKinney.
