On June 24, 2024, at approximately 8:55 P.M., the Mesquite Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing in the 500 block of Sesame Dr in Mesquite. Officers arrived on the scene and contacted Jody Fox, a 55-year-old male from Mesquite, at the front door of the home. Additional officers entered the residence and found Fox’s wife, Amy Fox, a 46-year-old female from Mesquite, deceased in the living room. Amy Fox had multiple knife wounds.
Following the investigation, Jody Fox was arrested and charged with Murder, a First Degree Felony.
Fox is being held at the Dallas County Jail on a bond of $1,500,000.
