Tips to Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse's Office led to the arrest of a suspect for possession of methamphetamines on Tuesday.
On June 18, 2024, at approximately 10:34 AM, Henderson County Narcotic Investigators Jonathan Daille and Jonathan Barrios acted on multiple Crime Stoppers tips regarding suspected drug activity. The investigators conducted a traffic stop in the Parkside Shores Subdivision on a vehicle driven by Dock Anthony Berry.
During the stop, Berry denied having any illegal items in the vehicle. However, a search revealed suspected methamphetamine in a plastic bag and marijuana. Berry was then placed in custody. He later disclosed that he had a blue camo zipper bag in his shorts containing a syringe and liquid methamphetamine inside a contact lenses container.
Berry was transported to the Henderson County Detention Center and booked for possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and driving while license invalid with a previous conviction.
