The Pegasus Project Horse Rescue is thrilled to announce the return of Wings Over Pegasus, an exciting combination of airplanes and equine wonder. The event is slated to take place on Saturday, March 30th, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the picturesque 95-acre Pegasus Ranch, situated at 7111 FM 2339 in Murchison.
The highlight of the event, the airshow, kicks off promptly at 1 p.m., promising a spectacular display of skydivers, airplanes, and helicopters. Among the thrilling performances, attendees can expect to witness the NextGen Eagles Aerobatics Team, a T-28 from the Trojan Phlyers & Racing Team, and Stephen Covington showcasing his skills in the "Raptor."
Designed for families, the day will be filled with fun activities including face painting, an Easter egg hunt, gourmet food trucks, and more. Noteworthy attractions include a raffle draw offering two roundtrip tickets on Southwest Airlines and a flour bomb competition. Additionally, guests will have the chance to meet rescue horses, engage with trainers, and learn about adoption and sponsorship opportunities.
Admission for parking is $25 per vehicle, with various items available for purchase including Pegasus merchandise, food, refreshments, raffle tickets, and participation in games. Event sponsors will enjoy exclusive perks such as free parking, premier airshow viewing, and VIP tent access with catered lunch by Montez Brothers.

Established in 2010, The Pegasus Project has been dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming mistreated horses, donkeys, and mules. The organization aims to combat prevalent issues of horse neglect, abuse, and abandonment in East Texas.
