Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo team is gearing up for their 3rd Annual Alumni Dinner and Fundraiser, set to take place on Saturday, March 2, at The Pavilion at the Becky and Buddy McCollum Events Center on the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Grounds.
The event will kick off at 5:30 pm with a Social Hour, followed by a delicious meal catered by Texas Road House at 6:30 pm. Attendees can then participate in live auctions and a Calcutta Auction. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by live music from Monty Tipps, ensuring a lively atmosphere for all guests.
Exciting items up for grabs in the live auction include an Axis Deer Hunt, a rifle, a custom cooler with leather, Smarty Roping Equipment, Best Ever Pad and Goodie Bag, and even a toy Aussie puppy, among others. Priefert’s has generously contributed Two Gold Buckle Tickets to Round 3 of the 2024 National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, which includes a two-night stay at the South Point Hotel and Casino.
For those who prefer a quieter bidding experience, there will also be a silent auction available. The event is open to the public, and tickets can be purchased for $50 each. Additionally, on Friday, March 1, there will be an Alumni Team Roping Event at the NTCC Arena, welcoming anyone interested in the NTCC Rodeo program or simply enthusiastic about rodeo and the Western way of life.
