Hopkins County came together once again to celebrate the exceptional contributions of its community members at the 97th Annual Hopkins County Chamber of Commerce Membership Banquet. The event, which drew a sell-out crowd, honored individuals and businesses across various categories.
Among the recipients were:
- Jerry Pritchett, who was awarded Caregiver of the Year.
- Main Street Theater, recognized with the Growth and Renewal Award.
- Kim Beck, honored as Ambassador of the Year.
- Billie Ruth Standbridge, recipient of the Vision Award.
- Wade Bartley's Help a Child Benefit, which received the Community Pride Award.
- Holly Self, Nurse at Como-Pickton CISD, awarded Educator of the Year Auxiliary.
- Renee Smith of Rowena Johnson Primary, celebrated as Para-Professional of the Year.
- Renee Maeker, SSHS Spanish Teacher, acknowledged as Professional of the Year.
- Karl and Kelli Ebel, recognized as the Agricultural Family of the Year.
- Sharla Tanton Campbell, honored as Woman of the Year.
- Slaughter’s Barbecue, named Small Business of the Year.
- D-6 Incorporated, awarded Large Business of the Year.
- Don Sapaugh, celebrated as Citizen of the Year.
