On Tuesday, April 15th, Paris Police officers responded to a report of an intoxicated individual at the Kroger store located in the 1300 block of Clarksville Street. Information indicated the suspect was en route to a nearby gas station, also in the 1300 block of Clarksville, to purchase more alcohol.
Officers made contact with 32-year-old Dimitric Deshon Parker and a female companion in the 1300 block of Clarksville. Further investigation revealed that Parker had been driving the vehicle. Parker, who was inside the gas station attempting to buy more alcohol, was found to be intoxicated.
Officers discovered two small children in the back seat of the vehicle Parker had been operating. Following a failed field sobriety test, Parker was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) with a C
