Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office Deputies recovered a stolen skid loader valued at approximately $100,000 on Saturday, April 12, 2025. The equipment was reported stolen from a construction site on FM 148. Following an investigation, deputies confirmed the theft and arrested one individual in connection with the crime.
This recovery contributes to a significant amount of stolen property recovered by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office in recent months. Over the past three and a half months, the agency has recovered an estimated $1,443,348.52 in stolen property through collaborative efforts with other law enforcement agencies and community partners.
