On Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, the Mount Pleasant Police Department (MPPD) Narcotics Division arrested 48-year-old Quasy Tyrone Fountain in Blodgett. Fountain was charged with Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance after being found in possession of over half a pound of methamphetamine. At the time of his arrest, Fountain also had an outstanding Parole Violation Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Dangerous Drug. He was subsequently booked into the Titus County Jail.
