The Office of Student Career Preparedness at East Texas A&M University held its bi-annual Just In Time All-Majors Career Fair on Wednesday, April 2nd, at the Rayburn Student Center.
The event was designed to connect East Texas A&M students and alumni with employers offering summer jobs and full-time career opportunities following graduation. Attendees had the chance to meet with representatives from approximately 14 companies, including the Dallas Police Department, USDA Food Safety and Inspection Services, Oncor, and Cal-Maine Foods, Inc., and explore career paths aligned with their academic majors and interests.
Arthur Lumzy, executive director of Student Career Preparedness, highlighted the various benefits of the career fair, noting that students explored career options, honed their professional communication skills, and some even secured job interviews.
