The Grayson County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests in connection with a serious assault that occurred on March 8, 2025, at approximately 6:45 AM in the 1100 block of Cedar Road. Deputies arrived at the scene to find a victim with significant injuries, and it was determined that a deadly weapon had been used during a disturbance.
Following an investigation, warrants were issued for 25-year-old Ezekiel James Scott of Denison, 29-year-old Javon Sims and 28-year-old JSON Cordell Jones of Longview. On March 9, Sims and Jones were arrested at a residence off Whitemound Road. Today, Ezekiel Scott was also taken into custody.
These arrests were made possible through the combined efforts of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office Patrol and Criminal Investigations Divisions, with assistance from other law enforcement agencies in the county.
The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities working to hold all responsible individuals accountable.
