On February 16, 2025, a woman residing in the 17200 block of Blackhawk Blvd reported a Hispanic male ringing her doorbell and asking for a ride. She communicated with him via her doorbell camera and immediately contacted the Friendswood Police Department; officers responded but were unable to locate the individual.
Subsequent reports on social media described similar incidents involving the same man, including one where he allegedly followed a resident home. Investigators identified the individual as 41-year-old Adolfo Espinosa.
On February 20, 2025, at approximately 9:54 AM, Friendswood Police arrested Espinosa for possession of drug paraphernalia, specifically a crack pipe found in his pocket. At the time of his arrest, Espinosa was out on bond through Galveston County for a previous charge of evading arrest detention with a prior conviction.
