On Sunday, January 19th, Sulphur Springs Police responded to a shoplifting incident at the Walmart on S. Broadway St. Upon arrival, officers identified 40-year-old Ngan T. Do as the suspect.
According to reports, Do was caught on surveillance intentionally bypassing items at the self-checkout, with the total value of the stolen goods amounting to $117.23. After being read her Miranda Rights, Do admitted to the theft and was taken into custody.
Do faces charges of theft of property between $100 and $750. She is currently held at the Hopkins County Jail, with her bond set at $1,000.
