East Texas A&M Partners with Nike and BSN SPORTS in Historic Multi-Year Deal

East Texas A&M University has announced a landmark partnership with Nike and BSN SPORTS, positioning Nike as the official outfitter for Lion Athletics beginning June 1, 2025.

Under the agreement, Nike, a global leader in sports apparel, will provide uniforms, training gear, and equipment for all 14 intercollegiate sports at East Texas A&M. BSN SPORTS, a premier platform for team sports solutions, will serve as the official supplier of athletic apparel, footwear, and uniforms throughout the partnership.

“Our partnership with Nike and BSN SPORTS marks an exciting new chapter for East Texas A&M University,” said President Mark Rudin. “This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and the development of our student-athletes.”

This deal makes East Texas A&M the only school in the Southland Conference outfitted by Nike, as well as the eighth Division I institution in Texas and the second in Division I FCS to partner with the brand.

“This is a monumental day in the history of Lion Athletics,” said Athletic Director Jim Curry. “The East Texas A&M brand is on the rise, and this partnership is another milestone in our journey to become one of the preeminent Division I FCS institutions in the country.”

As part of the agreement, East Texas A&M’s athletes will receive cutting-edge Nike apparel and equipment designed to maximize performance.

BSN SPORTS Vice President Todd Northrop expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating, “This partnership brings a powerful combination of elite product selection and industry-leading service solutions to the athletes, coaches, and community surrounding East Texas A&M athletics.”

Further details on how fans can purchase officially licensed East Texas A&M Nike apparel will be released later this year.
