East Texas A&M University volleyball player Kitana Tuufuli has been named to the Second Team all-Southland Conference, making history as the first player from the program to earn all-conference honors in the Division I era.
Tuufili, a sophomore outside hitter from St. Hedwig, Texas, was recognized for her outstanding performance during the season, which saw the Lions finish with a 7-9 record in Southland Conference play, tying for seventh place. Tuufuli accumulated 303 kills, 33 blocks, and posted a .228 hitting percentage. She ranks seventh in the conference with 303 kills.
Tuufuli's selection as an all-conference honoree marks a significant milestone for the Lions, as she becomes the first player from the program to receive such recognition since East Texas A&M transitioned to Division I.
