Governor Greg Abbott has announced that the final 2024 Governor's Small Business Summit will take place in Kaufman on Thursday, December 5, 2024. The summit, designed to support small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs, will provide critical resources and information to help businesses start, strengthen, and grow.
"Everything is bigger in Texas, and that includes our small businesses," said Governor Abbott. "With over 3 million small businesses in Texas, we continue to be a top state for job growth and entrepreneurial success. I invite all small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to join us in Kaufman for this event, where we will share valuable insights and build a bigger, better Texas together."
The event will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Kaufman Civic Center, located at 607 E. Fair Street, and will feature a variety of sessions aimed at addressing key topics such as workforce strategies, marketing techniques, and business growth strategies. Notable speakers include Adriana Cruz, Executive Director of the Governor’s Economic Development & Tourism Office, and former Texas Country Reporter hosts Bob and Kelli Phillips.
