On October 19, 2024, Greenville Police officers conducted a traffic stop on a driver suspected of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The driver was identified as 50-year-old Tonia Elizabeth Leahy.
Upon investigation, it was confirmed that Leahy was indeed under the influence of alcohol. Further inquiries revealed that she had a prior conviction for DWI, leading to charges of DWI 3rd or More. Additionally, Leahy was on parole for drug charges stemming from two convictions in 2020. Consequently, her parole has been revoked, and she has been denied bond.
