Greenville Welcomes Jefferson Highway Convoy on Historic Road Trip

The city of Greenville proudly hosted the Jefferson Highway Convoy as they traveled along their historic route. The convoy, which began its journey in Canada on October 1, is retracing the original Jefferson Highway that was established in 1918, passing through downtown Greenville.

Members of the convoy stopped in Greenville yesterday and this morning for a private tour at the local museum. The Military Vehicle Preservation Association (MVPA), in collaboration with the Jefferson Highway Association, is conducting its eighth transcontinental convoy from October 1-31, 2024. The journey follows the historic route from the Minnesota border to New Orleans, Louisiana.
